The Detroit Lions are in the midst of a three-game losing streak. Now, they’ll have to try and take down a hot 6-3 Carolina Panthers team.
The Detroit Lions have not had an ideal start to their 2018 regular season. Sitting in the basement of the NFC North with a 3-6 record, the Lions are in the midst of a three-game losing streak with no relief in sight.
Fortunately, the Lions are 2-2 at Ford Field. And their next three contests will be at home. Their next opponent? A red hot Carolina Panthers squad who have won three of their last four games. But they did just lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10, with a ridiculous score of 52-21.
Still, the Lions aren’t the Steelers. In fact, this is a Detroit squad who may have already thrown in the towel on this season as many see the recent trade of wide receiver Golden Tate as a “give up” move by this franchise.
And the fact the Motor City lost their last two games to divisional rivals has not helped their cause. But if a turnaround is going to take place, the first step would be a home win against the Panthers. If the Lions lose, they’ll match their loss total from last season under former head coach Jim Caldwell.
