The Detroit Lions will face yet another NFC North foe this weekend when they take on the upgraded Chicago Bears in the Windy City Week 10.
After coming off a loss to one divisional foe in the Minnesota Vikings, the Detroit Lions get to face another in Week 10. This time, it will be the 5-3 Chicago Bears.
The Lions and the Bears appear to be teams heading in opposite directions. Detroit is a franchise struggling to find their identity, losing their last two games before this pivotal matchup in Soldier Field. The Lions are currently in the basement of the NFC North standings.
Chicago is a team that has started to find themselves after adding several new pieces in the offseason. They are coming into Week 10 have won their last two games (New York Jets, Buffalo Bills) and currently sit atop the NFC North standings a full two games ahead of the 3-5 Lions.
But things could quickly change for both teams in the next three weeks. Following this matchup with the Bears, the Lions will head back home to Ford Field for three straight home contests. And it will only be two weeks before Detroit plays Chicago again, in Week 12.
