The Detroit Lions are coming off an impressive victory on the road against a tough Miami Dolphins squad. But the fight only gets harder this weekend as the Motor City welcomes the Seattle Seahawks to Ford Field in a battle between two 3-3 squads.
The Lions made headlines this week trading a fifth-round selection to the New York Giants for All-Pro defensive tackle Damon “Snacks” Harrison. Considered one of the top run-stoppers in the entire NFL, Harrison should help an ailing Detroit defense that has struggled to stop opposing rushing attacks.
With the addition of Harrison, the defense in the Motor City is expected to be much improved. Combined with an offense that has suddenly found their own running game, and the Lions appear to even more dangerous within a very winnable NFC North division. Detroit has a chance to snag their third straight victory at home this Sunday against a run-heavy Seahawks.
