Bradley Marquez

There’s not a whole lot to Bradley Marquez’s story; he doesn’t have any eye-popping athletic numbers and has yet to find his niche in the NFL.

More from SideLion Report

Marquez is entering his third year in the league out of Texas Tech University. He spent his first two seasons with the St. Louis Rams, compiling 16 catches for 125 yards and making most of his contributions on special teams.

After being cut by the Rams in early November of last season, the Lions added Marquez to their practice squad. He was only active for one game, the Lions’ Week 17 matchup against the Green Bay Packers, but didn’t put up any numbers.

A fun fact to note, according to the Detroit Lions’ official website: Marquez’s first NFL start came in December of the 2015 season against the Lions and led the team in receiving yards that game (albeit with only 32 yards).

Marquez is likely a camp body trying to make his best impression for another team. With the intense competition at wide receiver this offseason, it’s unlikely Marquez separates himself in year three to grab a spot on the roster, but his regular season experience may give him a fighting chance.
