Number 7, Cam Newton

SuperCam, or Cam Newton, is a bit different from almost any QB on here. He is his team’s fullback and quarterback. However, looking at him as strictly a quarterback, he comes in at number seven. Newton is a big, athletic, dual-threat player.

His numbers DO have to include his 754 yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. His low completion percentage, low passing touchdowns, most interceptions, and high help factors, are why he is ranked here.

The Carolina Panthers, 11-5, provide Newton with a lot of help, especially on defense; the Carolina defense is 11th in scoring (20.4 point allowed per game).

The Panthers run game is ranked fourth in the league, but Newton is part of that stat, so we have to give him some credit there.
