Final thoughts

The rankings favor production and personal marks, while using the team’s success to mitigate preference or winner bias.

Obviously, all of the top nine are key components to their teams. Also, they are partly responsible, more so than any other position, to their team’s wins.

If you really believe that Matt Stafford is too high on this list, which you are entitled to think, let me know in the comments.

If I got something else wrong, or omitted an aspect of real football that would alter the list, I am a big boy and can take it.

I think it is more representative of the totality of each quarterback’s situation, and therefore more accurate.

NFL players are welcome to their opinions, and rankings are what they are; a way for us to pass some time while we wait for the regular season to start again. Have a good night, Detroit fans!
