Round 4, pick 117 – DL Kendrick Norton, Miami

Here’s where the Lions can grab a run-stuffing machine for the middle of their defensive line. Norton would be a great pick for rotational depth with starting potential.

He’ll help with the loss of defensive tackle Haloti Ngata as he works with A’Shawn Robinson and Sylvester Williams in the trenches.

BONUS PREDICTION

This mock was prepared without trades. Don’t be surprised if the Lions trade down in the first or second round to attain more picks. It’s easy to say everyone wants to trade down, but you need to find a trade partner.

The Lions will acquire an extra pick or two in this draft. But instead of trading draft picks, they will do it by trading one of the running backs on their roster.

After drafting a running back, the Lions will have seven – SEVEN – running backs on the roster. That won’t stay the same by the end of the draft.
