Picks 16-19

#16 – Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville, to the Baltimore Ravens: previous pick, Mike McGlinchey

I’m not even sure the Ravens are interested in Jackson, but they should be. He probably shouldn’t be available at number sixteen. The line is an issue, as is running back, and wide receiver. However, Jackson is lightning in a bottle and can be used some right away in some sub packages. That would give some defensive coordinators nightmares.

#17 – Jaire Alexander, CB, Louisville, to the Los Angeles Chargers: previous pick, Vita Vea

Alexander doesn’t plug up the middle, but is a great cover corner who has the speed to improve the secondary. Vea was off the board early, but the Chargers will have time to address the middle of their defense later.

#18 – Connor Williams, OT, Texas, to the Seattle Seahawks: previous pick, Billy Price

This is a dream scenario for the Seahawks. Simply put, Russell Wilson needs protection. Williams is a good prospect with size and athleticism.

#19 – DJ Moore, WR, Maryland to the Dallas Cowboys: previous pick, Courtland Sutton

No change in my thinking. The Cowboys need to stretch people out some to keep their ground game open and they really have no one capable of doing that on their roster. Moore is a speedster who can force teams to cover down field.
