2nd Round, 51st Overall Selection

Rashaad Penny, Running Back, San Diego State University

A penny for your thoughts? See what I did there! In all seriousness though, by choosing Penny here, the Lions would be getting great value on a plug and play starter at a position of need.

Even though Penny led the nation in rushing last season, questions lingered about his level of competition in San Diego State. He helped to answer those questions with a stellar performance this year in the Senior Bowl.

Penny’s versatility in the passing game and return game would allow him to be a difference maker in other facets beyond rushing.

Honorable Mentions:

Will Hernandez, Guard, UTEP
Sony Michel, Running Back, Georgia
Derrius Guice, Running Back, LSU
