The Detroit Lions could struggle against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday as they might be without a couple key offensive pieces sidelined due to injury.

The 3-3 Detroit Lions will attempt to gain some ground in the standings this Sunday night, as they face the 5-2 Pittsburgh Steelers in primetime. But looking at the Lions’ final injury report released on Friday, they might have to do so without a couple key pieces of their offense.

Already ruled out for the Sunday Night Football battle are Lion rookie wide receiver Kenny Golladay, offensive tackle Greg Robinson (ankle) and offensive tackle Emmett Cleary (ankle). Golladay has been struggling with a hamstring injury ever since Week Four. It was hoped the talented rookie, who scored two receiving touchdowns in his debut, would return in the lineup following the team’s Week Seven bye.

And after being limited on Wednesday of this week, Golladay missed practice on both Thursday and Friday. And the team has already ruled him as out for the upcoming matchup against the Steelers.

This could really hurt the Lions’ offense as Detroit’s top wide receiver, Golden Tate, is considered questionable for the Week Eight matchup as well. Tate is dealing with a shoulder injury and was limited in practice all week.

Also considered questionable for Sunday night’s primetime matchup are defensive end Ziggy Ansah (knee) and linebacker Paul Worrilow (knee). Ansah was limited in practice this week but should be able to play as he’s been managing his knee injury all season. Worrilow was limited at practice on Wednesday, but a full participant the rest of the week.

Next: The Detroit Lions are back on NBC … ouch!

Also listed on the Lions’ final injury report are running back Dwayne Washington (quad), safety Glover Quin (concussion) and offensive guard T.J. Lang (back). All three were full participants during all of Detroit’s practice sessions this week and are expected to play this weekend.
