Previous Team(s): Atlanta Falcons, 2013-2016

Draft: 2013: Undrafted out of Delaware

Career Stats: 385 tackles, four sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles

Worrilow was a good, low-risk signing (one-year deal), as linebacker is a serious concern for the Lions. With the recent news of DeAndre Levy being released, the position is extremely thin. Although I expect the Lions to continue addressing the linebacking unit this offseason, Worrilow has every opportunity to compete for a starting spot this summer.

After starting at middle linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons from 2013 to 2015, Worrilow lost his job to rookie Deion Jones this past season. He believes he can be a fit at either the “Mike” (inside) or “Will” (weak-side) linebacker spots. If Worrilow proves worthy, it could make sense to put him in the middle and move Tahir Whitehead back to the outside.

Worrilow played his college ball at Delaware, where he was an FCS All-American in 2012. He went undrafted in 2013, but quickly made his presence felt in Atlanta, earning a starting role as a rookie.
