Depending on who you talk to, most people don’t think Nkemdiche won’t even go in the first round. Myself included. But there are those out there that believe the Lions could dupe unsuspecting teams by being the dumb team to take him that early. While I wouldn’t be surprised to see a team reach for him at some point, it shouldn’t be the Lions.

We all know that he is very talented. At one point in time he was the favorite among mock draft writers to be the first overall selection in the draft. Then he got high one night and fell out of a window. You know, usual Saturday night stuff. The issue is nobody knows the true story of what happened and it’s led a lot of to question his character. Nkemdiche has changed his story a few times and even managed to throw Laremy Tunsil under the bus by including him in one of those stories.

There seems to be nothing but character issues at this point and I wouldn’t be surprised to see either a team reach for him and try to change him, or see him still waiting around after day two of the draft. Stay away Lions.
