player. 50. Everyone hates him now that he took the money and ran  to South Beach. But this was the pick every Lions fan clamored for. Suh gave the Lions many great years. But he will likely be remembered most for his dirty moniker.. Defensive Tackle. Nebraska. Ndamukong Suh. 2

player. 50. Oh what could have been? Best had all the talent in the world and showed it every time he took the field. But the concussions were just too much and Best rightfully retired after just two seasons.. Running Back. California. Jahvid Best. 30

player. 50. I jumped out of my seat in excitement when this pick was made. I really thought that Fairley would be an All-Pro caliber tackle after his play in the National Championship game. It never panned out that way though. Fairley could really play when he was on. Those moments were few and far between.. Defensive Tackle. Auburn. Nick Fairley. 13

50. Ladies and gentleman I present to you, Jeff Backus 2.0. Everyone has an opinion on what the Lions do with Reiff after this season. There;s a good chance you may be seeing the last of Reiff in Detroit.. tackle. Iowa. Riley Reiff. 23. player

2013

5. player. 50. Absolute monster. That’s the best way to describe Ansah. A lot of fans were not happy with the pick at first. They are ecstatic about it now. I say it all the time and I’ll say it again, we haven’t seen Ansah’s best yet.. Defensive End. BYU. Ezekiel Ansah

2014

Eric Ebron. 10. player. 50. The most hated athlete in Detroit? Could be. In my opinion it’s dumb to be so against Eric Ebron. The Lions didn’t draft Aaron Donald, stop crying about it. Ebron has improved and will likely be a major part of the Lions offense going forward.. Tight End. North Carolina

2015

Duke. Laken Tomlinson. 28. player. 50. The jury is still out on this pick and will probably be for another year or so. Laken’s season stated out rough, but he started t come on nicely as the year progressed.  . Guard
