What would you liked to have seen in free agency?

SLR: ” As I stated earlier, receiver was a need. To fill that spot with Marvin Jones made a lot of sense. unfortunately the Lions missed on something that they may have needed a little more, the offensive line. After allowing Matthew Stafford to get sacked 89 times in the last 32 games and ranking dead last in rushing in 2015, this was something that needed to garner a lot of attention.

After missing on Russel Okung, which is likely a blessing after seeing his contract, the Lions failed to jump on any other prospects like Kelvin Beachum. Perhaps Bob Quinn will elect to build on this position through the draft. Regardless of how it’s done, it’s clear at this point that the Lion will be relying on Geoff Schwartz as stop-gap for the better part of 2016. That’s a problem.”

TVA: “Overall for Minnesota, there isn’t a lot to complain about. While I would have preferred the Vikings go after either a younger or better coverage safety, the team did a great job with competition, but the team should have looked into giving safety Harrison Smith a huge extension, as he will likely earn an even bigger payday if he plays at a high level again during the 2016 NFL season. Otherwise, I felt most major areas were addressed.”

BAR: ” The team made a mistake in signing Antrel Rolle in 2015. They need to correct that mistake, and probably will in the draft, but I would have liked to have seen them take a more aggressive approach to signing former Lions safety Isa Abdul-Quddus. I’m high on the 27-year-old. The Dolphins did sign him for 3 years with a contract averaging $4,250.000 and a guarantee of $6M. That is a lot of money, so I understand why they passed.

Again, though, I think Bears general manager Ryan Pace had a really fine offseason with his free agent acquisitions.”

APC: “Exactly what happened. This organization proved again why it is one of the most well run in the NFL. The Packers were able to bring back Letroy Guion, and Nick Perry, while also signing Cook who will bring an immediate impact to the Packers offense. The Packers didn’t go out and over spend on anybody which was smart, and were still able to bring back players who will bring an impact defensively next season with little cost.”
