50.  Zettel is a quick defensive lineman with good anticipation and a great motor with a number of moves at his disposal. He can be overly aggressive which could be his downfall but like Sean Davis is versatile having played both defensive end and defensive tackle for Penn State. The Lions need defensive end depth and adding a guy who can also play defensive tackle ties in with Quinn’s philosophy. DE/DT. Penn State. Anthony Zettel. 6. player

50. Bob Quinn has stated that tight end is a position of need for the Lions and with Eric Ebron being a good receiving threat the Lions need a blocker who can also catch and krieger-Coble fits that mold. He is very limited as a pass catcher due to a limited catch radius but is still somewhat reliable catching the ball. His main strength is being run blocker which was an issue for the Lions after the Pettigrew injury with Cornelius Lucas coming in as the extra blocker making the run play very obvious.. TE. Iowa. Henry krieger-Coble. 6. player

player. 50. In the NFL you can never have too much depth on either line. Ron Thompson is a versatile defensive end who has also played as an undersized Defensive Tackle and could play OLB if needed. He needs to work on his tackling which can definitely be troubling at NFL level but it is something that can be improved with coaching. A guy taken this late may make the final roster but like a couple of other guys I’ve mentioned Thompson has versatility which will be his greatest asset come training camp.. DE. Syracuse. Ron Thompson. 6
