Roddy White
Technically this is impossible because White is still under contract with the Falcons. However, recent rumors hitting the mill have the 34-year-old receiver parting ways with the Falcons. I personally hope they don’t. Roddy has been there for ten years. It would be a shame to see them drop him.
If they do decide to move on, the likelihood of Roddy White retiring is very strong. There isn’t a whole lot of players that spend their whole career in one city and then move for just one year. The reason the Lions should stay away other than age is that White has rapidly declined in the past three years and has been banged up in the process. I’ll say it again, replacing Johnson with a guy that’s significantly older than him, just doesn’t make any sense.
