Hakeem Nicks

It wasn’t long ago that Nicks to the Lions was one of the bigger trade deadline rumors. Of course at the time, Nicks was still a decent receiver worth having and Nate Burleson was risking it all for pizza.

Now Nicks is a guy that had seven receptions for 54 yards in 2015. Which is a shame because Nicks is still relatively young at 28. But the truth is that outside Nicks first three years in the league, he’s been a steadily declining player that’s dealt with injuries and has had trouble finding a team to play for. After signing with the Titans last summer, he was cut before the season started. If the Titans don’t want him, there’s no reason the Lions should.
