Let’s spend some time to review Martin Mayhew’s final draft as Lions GM. It is clear that his 2013 draft was the pinnacle for him, spawning good starters in several crucial areas of the team. Ziggy Ansah, Darius Slay, Larry Warford, Devin Taylor, Theo Riddick, and Sam Martin were all huge contributors from that draft in this past season.

Rewinding a little bit, after their rookie years, it was evident the Lions had scored a few good players, but it wasn’t clear just how good until 2015.
