Draft Day Dreaming

This is a two team race for the first pick overall for next year’s draft. Tennessee currently leads but the Browns are close behind. If either of those teams can manage to win, the Cowboys, 49ers and Chargers can all slip into the top three if they lose.

These last two games will also shake out the rest of the top 10. Baltimore, San Diego, Dallas and San Francisco will all fall somewhere in the top 10, but the order is still unclear.

San Diego Chargers. 28. team. 13. The Chargers travel to Denver to take on the Broncos. They can guarantee a top four pick with a loss. They might be able to keep Denver out of the playoffs altogether with a win.. (4-11). Previous:

42. Blaine Gabbert gets one last week to earn a long term contract as an NFL backup.. (4-11). Previous: . San Francisco 49ers. 29. team

The Cowboys are so bad this year. Tony Romo may mean more to Dallas than any other quarterback means to their team.. (4-11). Previous: . Dallas Cowboys. 30. team. 123

Cleveland Browns. 31. team. 53. A few weeks back, I counted on the Browns losing out. They’re one game away from losing their third in a row. They’re picking in the top two.. (3-12). Previous:

I was counting on the Titans to win at least one more game. With Mariota sidelined, it looks like they can sit back and relax as they earn that number one pick.. (3-12). Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 32. team. 35
