Draft Day Dreaming

This is looking more and more like a two team race for the first pick overall for next year’s draft. Tennessee currently leads but they have easier opponents left on their schedule. On the other hand, Marcus Mariota has been shut down for the rest of the season because of an MCL sprain.

These last two games will also shake out the rest of the top 10. Baltimore, San Diego, Dallas and San Francisco will all fall somewhere in the top 10, but the order is still unclear.

27. team. 42. San Francisco has Detroit and St. Louis left on the schedule and while neither of those teams are very good, they’re both still better than the 49ers. That means San Francisco is looking like a lock for a top five draft pick.. (4-10). Previous: . San Francisco 49ers

Dallas Cowboys. 28. team. 123. It’s Kellen Moore time in Dallas. That means even though Buffalo and Washington are on the schedule, Dallas isn’t winning.. (4-10). Previous:

13. San Diego plays the Raiders and the Broncos, who could be resting starters in Week 17. They might be able to get another win this year and if they do, it may keep them out of the top five in next year’s draft.. (4-10). Previous: . San Diego Chargers. 29. team

26. The Ravens have the chance to play spoiler with Pittsburgh and Cincinnati still on the schedule, but they just aren’t good enough to win those games when the two teams will be battling for playoff positioning.. (4-10). Previous: . Baltimore Ravens. 30. team

Tennessee Titans. 31. team. 35. Tennessee may not win another game, but they have a chance to. The Texans and Colts are both bad enough to lose to the Titans. Especially the Colts if they lose next week (and Houston wins).. (3-11). Previous:

53. The Browns are definitely losing out. They play Kansas City and Pittsburgh, the two AFC wildcard teams, fighting to make the playoffs. I would bet my house on it.. (3-11). Previous: . Cleveland Browns. 32. team
