If you haven’t noticed, Jay Cutler has been playing a lot better lately. Adam Gase is getting all the credit in the world for that improvement. The 37-year-old offensive coordinator has bounced around the NFL since starting his career with the Detroit Lions as a scouting assistant back in 2003. In my opinion, Gase is comparable to Teryl Austin. He’s a shining star that will do some interviews, but won’t receive any offers. In reality you’ll probably see that Gase isn’t ready to take on that kind of challenge yet. Watch for him in a couple more years.
