Detroit Lions Mock Draft v1.0

At 1-6, it’s natural for Detroit Lions fans to look forward to next spring’s draft. For many, the draft is the only thing to look forward to in this dismally disappointing campaign.
We don’t know who will be making the selections as General Manager, as Martin Mayhew’s seat is hotter than the surface of Mercury. We don’t know for what coach Mayhew or a new GM will be stocking the roster, as Jim Caldwell’s future as Head Coach is tenuous as well.
Because of the uncertainty, I’m going to put myself in charge of Detroit’s draft room. Here is one way I would tackle the Lions draft in Chicago next April.
