This is the only slide where I won’t change a thing. Martin Mayhey’s first three selections are three guys that are big parts of this Lions team today. Exekiel Ansah, Darius Slay and Larry Warford.
We all know what Ansah is. He’s a freak athlete and continues to get better and better as the years progress. At the moment he’s one of the only sights to see on the Lions defense. He is currently tied for second in the NFL in sacks and if they can surround him with more talent, he could be an All-Pro guy.
Slay looked great in 2014 and has his moments in 2015. He is still not a finished product yet and will likely take another year or two before he get’s to his prime. Warford is obviously the best lineman the Lions have right now which isn’t saying much. But the blame spreads on everyone on the line. Warford was the right pick.
