Adrian Peterson vs. Lions Rush Defense
Adrian Peterson has largely been kept in check this season with one exception being the first matchup with the Lions. Peterson has failed to reach 100 yards on the ground in 3 of their 5 games including a 26 carry, 60 yard performance against the Chiefs last week. Against the Lions in Week 2, he carried 29 times for 134 yards and helped Minnesota control the clock and wear down the Lions defense. Which AD will we see on Sunday? The Lions’ defense can expect Haloti Ngata to return to the lineup, which should help the run defense. Last week against the Bears though, the run defense actually held their own:

Hopefully with the addition of Ngata, the Lions can hold Peterson to similar numbers on Sunday.
