It;s really easy to look at this game and think “hey it’s the Denver Broncos” And you really can’t blame anyone for that. But in reality, it’s the Broncos that are walking into Ford Field for prime time football game.
The Lions are 11-5 at home in the past two years. What’s more impressive is that the Lions were 7-1 in the comfy confines of Ford Field in 2014. If there’s one thing that Lions fan’s know how to do, it’s make some noise and become part of the game.
But then again, it is the Denver Broncos and they have looked goof the past two seasons. Despite losing some key pieces like Ryan Clady and Julius Thomas, the broncos have not looked half bad in the preseason. Or have they? The Broncos are making noise in the yards department, but rank 18th in points per game, 13th in third down percentage and 22nd in turnover ratio with a -1. Defensively the Broncos will pose a major threat to just about any team.
I think the home field advantage will be too much for the Broncos and the Lions get a huge win in week three. But the clouds will roll in the next week. Win (3-0)
