Kellen Moore vs Dan Orlovsky

Come on! You didn’t think I would leave this out did you? Will this be the year that Mr. August takes his rightful spot as the Lions number two quarterback? Or will Dan Orlovsky make it a threepeat? Most fans believe that Kellen Moore will get the job done in 2015. I would have to agree with each and every one of them. This is Kellen’s time.

How will the offensive line hold up?

The Lions are entering the pre-season with essentially a brand new offensive line. the big question is are they ready? With Laken Tomlinson playing his first few NFL games and Travis Swanson starting for the first time, there will likely be a few kinks to get out of the collective system. Can they put it all behind them? Or will they show up without a problem?

Who will rise to as the third receiver?

This has been another burning question on the minds of Lions fans all offseason. Who is going to step up as the Lions third option in the preseason? Will it be Lance Moore? the veteran receiver that knows the system already? What about Corey Fuller? Last years surprise starter. Can he show a better understanding of the playbook? Did he fix his route running issues? Or will Ryan Broyles or T.J. Jones surprise everyone and sneak up the depth chart?

Will the Lions try a few different return scenarios?

The Lions return game needs work. Will they stick with Jeremy Ross? Or will they try something new? SideLion’s own Derek Mack put together a phenomenal piece on the current state of the Lions special teams unit. Be sure to check it out.
