Jonathan Bullard, Defensive End, Florida
6’3″, 270 lbs.

I’ve only watched two games of Jonathan Bullard, but it’s possibly I end at my minimum games watched of 3.  In 2015, no player impressed me less than Danielle Hunter (Now on division rival Minnesota Vikings) and 2016 I am gifted with Jonathan Bullard as my early low water mark.  The first game I watched of Bullard was against Missouri, so if you’re itching for a taste of why I’m so low on him that is as good a place as any to start.

Early against Alabama, Bullard showed some good understanding of leverage and strength and I was beginning to think I had possibly just watched a really bad game of his first.  Unfortunately it didn’t last and he went right back to getting moved around by blockers with ease.  Power, speed, leverage, and hand usage are all weaknesses for the Florida defensive end and it was painful to watch.

Like most prospects, there are still games to watch and the 2015 NFL season has yet to start.  There is still a chance for redemption or improvement and I’ll be there to catch it if it happens.  What do you think of this week’s prospects, readers?  Is there anyone you’d like to see the Detroit Lions target in 2016?  Let us know in the comments or hit me up on Twitter @MathBomb!
