While most Bears fans will give you the annual “Bears are going to win the Super Bowl” proclamation. The rest of us live in the real world where the Bears did everything possible to fix their 31st ranked defense in the offseason, like drafting offensive players with three of their four first picks and in true Bears fashion, signing as many players over the age of 30 to their defense as they could. As well as signing domestic violence favorite Ray Mcdonald. Who they promptly released after he, you guessed it, was arrested yet again for domestic abuse.

It wasn’t all bad though. The Bears managed to steal Eddie Goldman in the draft and picked up Pernell Mcphee in free agency. Both were great moves by the Bears front office. The Bears also went out and upgraded their coaching staff by picking up John Fox and Adam Gase from Denver.

If Vic Fangio can fix the mess left by Mel Tucker, the Bears could have an improved season in 2015.
