Just last week San Francisco 49ers GM Trent Baalke called me to ask if I would like to play some linebacker for the 49ers this year. Apparently there’s a shortage out in the Bay Area. All jokes aside, the 49ers lost a great deal of talent this offseason in free agency and an absurd amount of retirements for one offseason. Weirdly most of the retirees played linebacker.
What the 49ers still have is a talented quarterback who has the wheels to make any defense miserable. unfortunately for him, he lost his starting running back and a starting receiver. It will be interesting to see how this team does in 2015.
Also, sorry Trent, I’m like 15o lbs overweight. Maybe next year, unless you throw in some sort of pizza endorsement.
