Break the run game slump

As I pointed out in my recent running game report, this has been an ongoing problem. 17 years to be precise. In that 17 years the Lions rushing attack has not ranked higher than 17th in the league.

In 2015 the Lions appear to be trying a new approach at the running back position. The approach being the running back by committee system. By using each running back according to their strength, the Lions could finally break the spell put on them after Barry Sanders decided to walk away from football.

As you can see, Joique Bell believes in the Lions system. Of course making bold statements in the sports world more often than not, leads to embarrassment. Let’s hope Joique Bell knows something that we don’t. It’s hard to argue with a guys whose stats have consistently risen since joining the Lions in 2012.
