SideLion Report, the FanSided site devoted to covering all things Detroit Lions has been steadily growing over the past few years. If you’re not familiar with SLR, we’re dedicated to providing top-notch Lions news, views and original content. This site also serves as a community for like-minded fans to come together to catch up on the latest news and to discuss their passion.

With the highly anticipated NFL season just around the corner, we here at SideLion Report have decided that we would like to add a Detroit Lions writer to the team!
Do you consider yourself a passionate fan? Read us or other Detroit Lions sites with regularity and ever wonder if you should write about the team too?

Expectations
SideLion Report is looking for creative and motivated individuals who would like to share their thoughts on the Detroit Lions with the rest of the world. From game previews, to recaps, player grades, team rumors and raw analysis, we cover it all.
Writers are asked to contribute 1-2 posts per week. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it.
For most of us here at SLR, we write about sports as a hobby. And because we have a deep passion for the Detroit Lions franchise. Beyond football though, we all have families, full-time careers and/or school. We realize that everyone is busy with life, and has to prioritize as necessary.
On the other hand, our work is regularly featured on SI.com and Bleacher Report and many FanSided writers have gone on to work full-time in online media. FanSided hired over ten of its own writers recently and there are currently FanSided alums working at other major media outlets and with professional sports teams.
