Ziggy Ansah has been everything fans have hoped for and more. To think that he’s only been playing football for such a short time shows that his athleticism and intelligence is scary good. If Ansah can continue to grow, it’s down right scary to think of what he can be.

He must answer the bell this year as this is his defensive line now. I’ve often compared this situation to D-Generation X of the WWE.  After the loss of Shawn Michaels (Ndamukong Suh) DX found themselves at the bottom of the barrel with no leader until the young Triple H (Ziggy Ansah) came in took over with a whole new cast of characters in the New Age Outlaws (Haloti Ngata and Tyrunn Walker) and X-Pac (Jason Jones) and turned them into the greatest stable the WWE has ever seen.

All joking aside, Ansah will likely step up big for the Lions this season and find his way to his first Pro Bowl. If he winds up hitting the pedigree on Aaron Rodgers in 2015, you’ll know who inspired it.
