The Lions went out and got themselves some receiving help after the 2009 season when they signed veteran receiver Nate Burleson. The only problem is, the Lions forgot to get other guys too.

Nate came on nicely for the Lions and gave them a real threat opposite Calvin Johnson. However, then 30-year-old Bryant Johnson hit a wall in his career and regressed tremendously. Derrick Williams would go on to play his last season in Detroit.

The Lions did get some decent numbers from their tight ends and running backs in 2010. But the season was over before it began after Matthew Stafford was injured week 1 against the Bears.
