When you think of the Detroit Lions it’s easy to immediately think of the wide receiver position.
For years, wideout Calvin Johnson dominated not just the NFC North, but the NFL as well. There is no denying that Megatron has slowed as of late, however production at the position did not falter. Golden Tate stepped up to the plate in a big way for Detroit in 2014 while Johnson battled injuries throughout the season.
Beyond Johnson and Tate is where the questions begin.
The Detroit Lions lack a real threat at the third wide receiver position, despite some formidable talent on the roster. Shortly, we will begin to look at who might be able to fill that role in 2015, as well as some analysis from the 2014 season on Johnson, Tate and company.
