Detroit Lions Head Coach Jim Caldwell and General Manager Martin Mayhew have raved about certain players this offseason. With an offseason full of players coming and going it’s time to look at where the roster stands and who has a change to make a bigger impact than they did a season ago.

The Detroit Lions offseason is getting interesting. OTA’s and training camp are just around the corner and pretty soon coaches will get to see their players in game situation in preseason. With starters Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley gone and rotational players like George Johnson and Ashlee Palmer out the door too, it’s time to look at players who will either be forced into bigger roles this season or candidates that will “break out” and build on their performances from a season ago.
