2. Kevin White, CB, TCU

If you’re looking for a defensive back that has good fundamentals and compete throughout, just watch White’s tape. He has excellent closing speed and plays the ball well in the air. The Lions like aggressive cornerbacks, and White is a player in that exact mold.

He’s a bit bigger than Nevin Lawson, but the intense compete both show on the field is similar. Detroit will need plenty of depth on the back end in 2015, and White is the type of prospect that could rise from relative college obscurity to become a significant NFL contributor.

He has the skills that could translate well to Detroit’s defensive backfield.
