Sunday night, the Detroit Lions met a bitter fate at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys, losing a heartbreaker to bow out of the NFC playoff race.
Now, the grim reality sets in that football won’t be played again until early next fall. Between now and then, though, there’s plenty of variables to keep fans interested, excited and on the edge of their seats during the ever-unpredictable NFL offseason.
