3. Herman Moore – Madden 2001

Before there was Calvin Johnson there was Herman Moore.

As the Madden franchise has evolved, the game has included more and more rating categories.

What Madden 2001 may have lacked in category rating quantity, Herman Moore made up for in quality.

The pointy digitized version of number 84 did much better than his uniform number in many important ratings: 92 Overall, 89 Agility, 83 Speed, 95 Acceleration, 93 Awareness, and 95

Catching made Moore a legitimate pass catching threat all over the field.

And remember, this was before the days now where players openly campaign for higher ratings.

Back in the day, ratings in the 90s meant something.
