The consensus number one receiver in this draft, Watkins is an NFL-ready receiver who would benefit greatly from lining up opposite Calvin Johnson. Wide receiver is arguably Detroit’s biggest need this offseason, and if it is not addressed in free agency, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Martin Mayhew and company make a move on draft day to secure Watkins place in a Lions uniform.
