Cordarrelle Patterson continues to impress with his athleticism, and when all is said and done, the best thing about this season for the Vikings might just be that they already found Percy Harvin’s replacement.
But while they’ve found an answer in Patterson, they have questions everywhere else on the field. Adrian Peterson’s health is a concern once again, and it remains to be seen whether his long-term plans include Minnesota.
Meanwhile, the Vikings have three quarterbacks on the roster, and not a single one of them is assured of a roster spot next season.
And that’s to say nothing of this team’s biggest issue: the defense. With even a halfway competent defense, they would have prevented the Ravens from scoring three touchdowns in as many minutes (granted, one was on special teams, but still). Defense has lost this team far more games this season than shoddy quarterback play, and the back seven especially should be a major focus for them in the offseason.
