The Detroit Lions have fielded one of the league’s most potent offenses for several years running, but the running game has never been a very big part of that.

The Lions signed Reggie Bush for that exact reason, and there is no doubt he has had a positive impact on the Lions’ offense, but to what extent? And what about the rest of the stable of running backs? There are four players at running back right now, each of them particularly interesting for completely different reasons.

But how have they contributed to the Lions’ offense after eight games this season? Also, since you can’t talk about the running game without talking about run blocking, why not check out my grades for the offensive linemen and tight ends? I made it easy for you by linking them all in the schedule below.
