It may very well go down as “the Calvin Johnson game” but nationally it is becoming known as Matthew Stafford’s coming of age. He masterfully led the game winning 80-yard drive capped off by a heady play in which he stretched the ball across the goal line while and unsuspecting defense thought he was going to spike the ball to stop the clock. The Lions severely out-gained the Cowboys but four turnovers made it look like they may just be empty stats. Instead, the Lions escaped with the win and Megatron’s 14 catch, 329 yard day is regarded as one of the best receiver performances in history.
