Detroit Lions Bubble Players to Watch Against Bills

For 22 players, Thursday, Aug. 29 will be a day of “what ifs.”

That’s how many players the Detroit Lions will cut after they get one final shot to prove themselves against the Buffalo Bills, and consequently how many players will be left wondering if they could have done more.

Of course, there are some players who are basically as good as cut already. The odds that one preseason game against third-stringers will turn enough heads to save a roster spot aren’t good, unless said player is already under consideration (or “on the bubble”).
