The Lions' division is full of teams on the rise. How will next year shake out?
4. Minnesota Vikings
They definitely won't be the worst team in football next year, but the Vikings are the only NFC North team that look more like a team in decline than on the rise. They're probably about to hand Kirk Cousins a whole bunch of money, and they're neither particularly young or full of cap space to work with. They've done an admirable job staying competitive over the last couple of seasons, but the bill's coming due for a bunch of veterans who saw a bunch of playing time in 2023. Putting them at 4 and the Bears at 3 kinda feels like splitting hairs, but that's life when you play in one of the more competitive divisions in the NFL.
