2. CB Emmanuel Moseley

As he works his way back from a torn ACL, it's not entirely fair for Moseley to make this list. He's on the PUP list to start camp, as expected. But he was also not with the team during the first week of camp, for what head coach Dan Campbell deemed "medical reasons." Which was to assume, at least initially, that he's continuing his rehab in a setting of his choice rather than the team facility. The reason was not necessarily important in the sense of where he may be most comfortable rehabbing.

Friday's news update on Moseley, coming directly from Campbell, was that he'll be back in the building on Monday. But Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reported Moseley had a cleanup procedure on his knee sometime recently. Campbell would not acknowledge that, of course, which may say it all. It's safe to say Moseley won't be on the practice field for a little while, and that timeline may extend a bit if he indeed had a second knee surgery.

His injury recovery and/or subsequent recent surgery are clearly huge things. But
with each passing day of training camp, Moseley is absolutely falling behind in his competion with Jerry Jacobs for the outside cornerback spot opposite Cameron Sutton. As much as it may even continue to be a competition, with Jacobs reported to be looking pretty good thus far.
