3. Amon-Ra St. Brown sets season-high for catches

In the previous matchup against the Bears in Week 10, St. Brown set his then season-highs for catches (10) and his yardage (119). Those marks are now 11 and 122 respectively, and the “Sun God” has double-digit targets in four of his last five games.

Indoors at Ford Field with a high over-under, Lions-Bears pn Sunday has a game environment that’s ripe for some production across the board on both sides and is pretty much unrivaled around the league this week. Chicago’s defense is also worse than Detroit’s, leaving aside the Lions’ showing in Week 16, with a secondary that has been thinned by some injuries in recent weeks.

St. Brown will plenty busy as Jared Goff finds a path of little resistance through the air against the Bears. Predicting he’ll have more than 11 receptions has to be considered bold, I suppose, but a massive target share and a secondary that’s gone from bad to worse lines it up to happen.
