3. WR Kalif Raymond

With DJ Chark on IR, Josh Reynolds less than 100 percent and Amon-Ra St. Brown exiting the game very early with a head injury, someone needed to step up in the Lions’ receiving corps.

That someone was Raymond, who led the team in catches (five), targets (six) and receiving yards (75). He also added 20 rushing yards on two attempts. No other Lions’ wide receiver had more than 15 yards in the game, and only two other pass catchers (tight ends Brock Wright and T.J. Hockenson) had more than 20 receiving yards against the Cowboys.

St. Brown seems very likely to miss Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins due to the league’s heightened concussion protocols, and of course Chark will be out again on IR. So Raymond is in line for a large role again next week. But strictly for Week 7, he gets the first Lions’ game ball.
