TE T.J. Hockenson

With St. Brown, Swift and Chark out, and taking over half of the Lions’ offensive production through Week 3 with them, Week 4 was a now-or-never week for Hockenson to continue to being the default tight end starter for his fantasy managers, after a disappointing start to the season that still had Hockenson as a top-12 fantasy tight end through Week 3.

Hockenson delivered against the Seahawks, with eight catches for 179 yards and two touchdowns (on 12 targets). An 81-yard catch-and-run was the top highlight play.

Hockenson set career highs against the Seahawks, with a franchise record for yards by a tight end (which had stood since 1964). He also reached rare NFL milestones for all positions with 175 yards, two touchdowns and a two-point conversion in the same game.

Hockenson was the easy TE1 in fantasy across the board for Week 4, by double-digit points over everyone else across the board. How heavy his involvement is when everyone is healthy will be worth keeping an eye on, but moving forward Hockenson is back in the good graces of his fantasy managers as a top 5-10 tight end on a weekly basis.
