2. Arizona Cardinals

With DeAndre Hopkins serving a six-game PED suspension, Rondale Moore (hamstring) yet to play this season and now A.J. Green (knee) looking to be out for awhile, it’s Marquise Brown and Greg Dortch as the Cardinals’ top two wide receivers. Moore is trending toward being able to play in Week 4, but it’s not enough.

The Cardinals really should be 0-3. It took a comeback and an overtime fumble return touchdown to beat the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. Otherwise, they’ve not really been competitive. Quarterback Kyler Murray has not put aside any idea he’s overrated as a player and/or a leader, which some people have thought from the beginning with him.

Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury and general manager Steve Keim got contract extension through 2027 early in the offseason. But Kingsbury is moving closer to the hot seat, followed closely by Keim if the team’s record does not turn around. Changes will surely be made if it comes to that.

Acquiring Golladay would obviously not cure all of the Cardinals’ ills. But they are in a position where nothing should be totally off the radar, and taking a flier on someone who could become another viable weapon for Murray is not out of the question.
