3. RB Jamaal Williams

Williams rushed for more than 600 yards last year, as he and D’Andre Swift closely shared playing time when both were available. In fantasy terms, for the season, Williams finished as RB41 in standard scoring (RB43 in full and 0.5-point PPR).

In three games he played in and Swift missed all or most of last year, here’s what Williams did.

Week 12 vs. Chicago Bears: 15 carries for 65 yards, five catches (on five targets) for 18 yards; 13.3 PPR points; RB26–standard scoring, RB19 in full PPR

Week 13 vs. Minnesota Vikings: 17 carries for 71 yards, one catch (one target) for nine yards; 9.0 PPR points; RB24–standard scoring, RB27 in full PPR

Week 16 at Atlanta Falcons: 19 carries for 77 yards, zero catches (zero targets); 7.7 PPR points  RB30–standard scoring, RB37 in full PPR

Williams’ fantasy upside is tied to Swift’s health. But the baseline value for him is as a RB4/RB5 in leagues with 12 or more teams, with the potential to be a flex option (or more) some weeks regardless of Swift’s health.
